De eeuwigheid van het ogenblik

De eeuwigheid van het ogenblik, by Evita Hinneman, describes how our current Western society has become accustomed to rapidly changing processes and the make-ability of our emotions and environment. We are driven by a high performance impulse, leaving little or no room for stagnation and awareness. We don’t dare and are not allowed to stand still, because this is seen as deterioration. The publication discusses the concept of time and a more wholesome way of dealing with it, throughout three central statements. Each of which is prominently portrayed, together with examples of contemporary art, to validate the core message of the publication.
